How To Get White Teeth And Keep Them That Way

By Jean Straw

Everyone wants to know how to get white teeth and keep them that way. In fact, the solution is a breeze. In no time you'll be dazzling your neighbors with your new million-dollar smile, and you'll keep dazzling them for a long time to come.

With the constant barrage they suffer from stain-causing threats like tobacco smoke, food and even beverages, it's no wonder that daily brushing and flossing isn't enough to keep your teeth gleaming. Fortunately, you have help. There are tons of cheap and easy remedies for stained smiles right at your fingertips.

If you talk to your dentist, they'll probably tell you that they hear that one famous question all the time. "How can I make my smile like those actors in the movies have?" Of course, the possibilities are plentiful.

Changing your eating, drinking and social habits will make a difference in your smile, but maybe won't provide the stunning revelation you've been hoping for. Do-it-yourself home-whitening is effective as well. However, any way you look at it, the dentist's proven whitening methods are still your best bet for long-lasting results.

The only real way to know which method is going to give you the results you want, in a way that keeps you and your wallet comfortable, is by checking out the pros and cons of each method for yourself.

What you will probably discover is that teeth-whitening is neither beneficial nor has it proven to be harmful to your teeth. People do it to build their own sense of self-worth and to impress others.

Does it work? You bet. It's not going to necessarily deliver success and romance right to your doorstep, but the results will be obvious right away, and it's a boat-load cheaper than botox.

A little reminder, teeth-whitening may be cheap but it's not free. Having to repeat the procedure because of new staining from smoking or consuming certain types of food and drink could add up in the end.

Now that you know how to get white teeth, of course you want to keep them white for a very long time. Bad news for you smokers out there, or good news, depending on your point of view, you are going to have to quit. Cutting down on stain-inducing beverages like coffee and tea will also go a long way to maintaining those pearly whites pearly. In the end, you save a little money and have that super smile everyone dreams of having.
